Experience
Head Technician, Michelle’s Pianos, Home of Steinway, 2017-2019
In this role, I tuned on concert stages throughout the Portland area; rebuilt pianos including a number of Steinway & Sons and other fine pianos; and trained and supervised other technicians.
Piano technician and Piano Technicians Guild Member, 2005-Present
I continue to be active and dedicated to improving the craft of piano technology. In 2019, I was honored with the Emil B. Fries Award of Merit “In recognition of outstanding contributions to the Piano Technicians Guild, to the Portland Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild, to her community, and to humanity.”
Marimba band member, 2001-2011
This was fun. I got into this with my oldest child when he was 12.
